New Year, New Look

So we have a new look. This is something I’ve been working on for about a week. The idea for the trees came from my friend Maddie of Better in Pink! Thanks, Maddie :)

The problem I had with the last design was that the header was too long and thus resulting in a lot of scrolling. This design is cleaner, simpler and I have now made the pages 1 column instead of 2. Everything you need can be found in the menu bar at top, this includes viewing your shopping cart to checkout, etc. This year will bring lots of fun changes, and we are really excited to work with you.

After perusing through my wonderful Scrapbooking Magazine, I came across a color palette that caught my eye. Adorned with browns, oranges, pinks and whites.. I knew I had to create a premade with these colors. And, that I did.

We’re Back and Looking Good!

Hello All! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I sure did! Aside from spending Thanksgiving with the family, we moved into a beautiful house and took the office with us. As you all know, I work from home and now I really have my own home office which I am COMPLETELY excited about! With the new office comes new furniture and so on. I can’t wait to be completely set up. It’s exciting.

I didn’t get the internet set up here until yesterday. It was a real bummer. It was supposed to have been turned on a week ago but the service provider failed to do it’s part on more than one occasion. After switching services and getting everything up and running, I am working at full speed trying to get caught up from my week away!

I am currently in the process of installing the 13 or so premades that were purchased while I was gone. If you purchased a premade between November 24th - December 2nd. I haven’t forgotten you! I promise :)

New look. With the new office and the new house, I wanted DDS to have a new look too. Using the gauze pattern from photoshop as the background, I wanted a design that reflected the colors of my new office.

A few things to take note of!

Our office will be closed Wednesday, November 26th - December 1st due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Any ready-mades purchased on November 24th - November 28th will not be installed until Tuesday, December 2nd!

November 22nd - 26th: This week is going to be an extremely busy one for me. We are in the process of moving! Office and all! If I don’t respond to your e-mails right away, please understand that I have limited access at the moment and will only be responding to urgent e-mails. Once the move is complete and I am able to get caught up from the time spent away, I will open up my inbox again to all e-mails. I really appreciate your understanding.

Most importantely, have yourself a wonderful Thanksgiving! We, here at Delicious Design Studio, are thankful for our wonderful past, present & future clients. :)

Design: The Pink Shoe Diaries

The client came to me and requested a design that was something modern looking, friendly and cool, with a graphic of a sassy pink shoe + a martini in the header. Her color ideas were Pink, White, Black & Lime green. I took her preferences and created a design that I felt best suited the client.

I haven’t had much time for updating this blog because I have been extremely busy playing catch-up. At the rate I am going, I have been launching 3-4 projects a week, not including 3-4 readymades a day. Needless to say, it’s been a very busy past few weeks and I am trying to finalize and finish up loads of projects before this holiday season! Everyone loves a new blog design for the season, right?

Ready-Mades Galore!

I had a little bit of downtime this weekend to finally upload the ready-mades that I’ve been working on for a few weeks. I wanted to offer more of a variety in the shop for those who want a design the same day. The response has been wonderful and I appreciate that greatly. Butterfly 2 Column

I had a client who sent me a color swatch of her favorite colors. I instantly fell in love. When she decided later on to go with a more softer tone for her design, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to use these colors.

Inspired by a tag on my daughter’s bedding, I came up with the fun squiggles in the header that trails the butterfly. With fun polka dots in the navigation and matching header & footer, this might be my favorite ready-made design yet.
