Project Notes: Whateverlife.com is a popular site that receives 400,000+ hits a day. They specialize in myspace layouts and tutorials. Creator, Ashley Qualls has been interviewed on Good Morning America & The View along with some very impressive interviews in magazines. Ashley came to me and asked if I could help her migrate her website from static to wordpress. I created all new pages on wordpress and imported all of her myspace layout pages manually. This was a very fun project and I had a blast.

Project Notes: The client came to me and requested a design that was something modern looking, friendly and cool, with a graphic of a sassy pink shoe + a martini in the header. Her color ideas were Pink, White, Black & Lime green. I took her preferences and created a design that I felt best suited the client.

Project Notes: Kellie came to me and wanted to use one of my free themes for her food blog. Unfortunately, she had wordpress.com at the time. I talked her into hosting her blog (didn’t take much convincing) and created a design for her to use based of All Things Cupcake’s design. I created a custom shelf for her to display some of her nummy ingredients. Had a lot of fun with this design! I have been giving Kellie tips on how to run a food blog and I think this can really be something great for her. She has the cutest ideas for “little nummies” and when I see her at Christmas I am going to ask her to make me some. Seriously.

Project Notes: Susan came to me with a few different ideas. At the time, she had a wordpress.com blog so we had to switch her over to self hosted. I migrated everything for her from wordpress.com to her new blog. We then started on the design. She wanted a design to incorporate Boston and a little bit of travel as well. She gave me a few color combination’s and I decided that the light blue/brown would work best with what we were trying to achieve. The luggage tag displays her blog name.

Project Notes: Manda came to me and wanted a colorful website mixed with a grunge style. I had to figure out something that would be fitting to her business, Ded Designs. Initially, nautical stars came to mind, with a grungy background.. and utilizing color in the header. I also integrated a shopping cart & a shop for her to use. The shop is very easy to use and I walked her through how to add products and set up the settings.
